  • Work remotely as an employee or freelancer mainly for non-Spanish companies
  • Have at least 3 years of work experience or a relevant degree
  • Earn at least €2,334 per month from your remote work
  • Have worked with your employer or clients for at least 3 months
  • Have no criminal record in the past 5 years

What is the Spain Digital Nomad visa?
Spain's Digital Nomad visa allows remote workers, freelancers, and self-employed individuals to live in Spain while working for companies or clients outside Spain for up to one year initially.
What is the income requirement?
You must demonstrate a monthly income of at least €2,334 (200% of Spain's minimum wage). If bringing family members, add 75% for first dependent and 25% for each additional.
Can I work for Spanish companies?
Yes, but limited to 20% of your total professional activity. The remaining 80% must be for foreign companies or clients outside Spain.
How long can I stay with this visa?
The initial visa is valid for up to one year. You can then apply for a 3-year residence permit, renewable for another 2 years, leading to permanent residency after 5 years.
